75th IMESA CONFERENCE

28 October 2011

The Emanti Team attended the 75th IMESA Conference which was held from the 26 to 28th October, 2011 in Birchwood, Johannesburg.

The main goal of the IMESA conference was to create a platform for members to gain valuable information and insight from the topical papers presented and the associated exhibitions into issues which municipalities face on a daily basis.  Further, through networking opportunities, ideas could be shared and delegates could learn more about new products, new solutions and services which are being offered to the municipal engineering market.

A paper by William Moraka (SALGA), entitled “Improving Water Services Provision Through The National Municipal Benchmarking Initiative: Benchmarking our way to better services, more effectively, more efficiently” was presented.  Co-authors included Jay Bhagwan (WRC), Frank Stevens (IMESA and eThekwini) and Grant Mackintosh (Emanti).

In addition, the Emanti Team had a stand at the IMESA conference, exhibiting Emanti Management expertise in the municipal engineering market.  Various posters highlighting the products and services that Emanti has to offer were exhibited at the stand:

  1. MuSSA – Municipal Strategic Self-Assessment
  2. Water Services Infrastructure Vulnerability
  3. Water Safety Planning
  4. Other Water Services Tools

Please contact the Emanti Team if you require more information regarding the paper and posters that were presented at the IMESA Conference.
