Draft WRC W2RAP tools piloted

The first round of piloting of the WRC W2RAP tools was recently completed at 3 municipalities (in Northern Cape, Western Cape and KwaZulu Natal).

Spreadsheet-based versions of the two developed tools (i.e. (1) Wastewater Risk Abatement Plan Tool – allows development and tracking of a W2RAP, and (2) Wastewater Risk Abatement Planning Status Checklist Tool – allows determination of the status of W2RAP processes) were piloted during a series of site visits to the selected municipalities.

Feedback obtained to-date has been very favourable, and comments received will be used to further enhance the spreadsheet-based tools and develop the associated web-based tools.
