Meet the Emanti Management and Staff.
Grant is the Managing Director and the driving force behind Emanti. Grant holds various degrees from Cape Town: BSc (Eng) in Civil Engineering, Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering, MSc in Engineering, and an MBA (achieved Cum Laude) at the University of Stellenbosch.
Grant is an active sports man, enjoying jogging and cycling (completed the Cape Epic in 2008) in his spare time.
Mziwabantu joined Emanti Management as a Director and Board Chairman at the company inception in 2003. He, however, started working full-time for the company at the beginning of 2004. Mzi brings invaluable abilities, experience and skills to Emanti which he gained from many years in the construction and water industry.
As a young man Mzi participated passionately in rugby, boxing and table tennis. His participation is now limited only to games of chess, checkers and table tennis.
Philip brings a wealth of knowledge to Emanti having achieved a BSc (Eng) in Chemical Engineering with Honours at the University of Cape Town as well as achieving Honours (with distinction) in Water Utilisation Engineering at the University of Pretoria.
Philip joined Emanti Management at its inception as a Director in 2003. To relax, Philip enjoys a good glass of red wine and his other interests include books and music.
Shawn completed his ND Civil Engineering at Cape Peninsula Technikon and obtained a distinction for the National Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering through Peninsula Technikon. Shawn has gained a wealth of experience over more than 11 years within Local government focusing on areas of Water, Sanitation, Operational and Capital Management of Municipal budgets and Project Management.
Shawn is an avid motor sport enthusiast and is still actively involved in the administration and development of wheelchair basketball in Africa.
Unathi obtained her National Diploma in Chemical Engineering in 2000 at Peninsula Technikon. She further obtained a B Tech and M Tech (Chemical Engineering) in 2001 and 2005 also at Peninsula Technikon. She became an intern at Emanti Management in 2004, and joined Emanti as a permanent member of staff, after completing her post-graduate studies in 2005.
Unathi has a keen interest in art and is an enthusiastic boxing supporter.
Thabisa obtained her National Diploma in Chemical Engineering (2000) and B Tech (Chemical Engineering) in 2001 at Peninsula Technikon. She joined Emanti in 2004 and completed her B Eng Honours (Water Utilization) at the University of Pretoria in 2008.
Thabisa enjoys the outdoors (hiking and jogging), Stage Theater and family time (with my daughter).
Warren completed his ND Chemical Engineering at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) in 2005 and is currently enrolled for a B Tech (Chemical Engineering) at the University of South Africa (UNISA). He joined the company in 2005 as a technician and data controller.
In his spare time, Warren enjoys the outdoors, loves sports and spending time with his friends and family.
Gregory joined Emanti Management at its inception in 2003 as a water sampler and field technician. He is an enthusiastic rugby supporter and other interests include books and jazz music.
Beryl joined Emanti in 2005. She started in administration as Personal Assistant to Grant, and through her keen interest in IT and Project Management, has become more involved with the business and currently assists the Emanti team with Web-based and other project management. Beryl has a degree in Conservation Ecology (BSc Agric and BSc (Hons - Physiology)) through Stellenbosch University.
She loves animals, gardening, art, music and “chilling” with her children.
Nicolene joined Emanti in 2008 as Personal Assistant to Philip de Souza and Office Administrator. She is currently busy with an ICB (Institute of Certified Bookkeepers) accounting course (Senior Bookkeeper) through Boland College.
Nicolene loves animals, has a keen interest in dancing and enjoys a good movie to relax.
